“Black Power in Print” is a hybrid analog-digital cross-institutional collaboration between MoMA and the MFA celebrating the powerful visual call-to-arms of the Black Panther newspapers published between 1967 and 1980. It is timed to honor the landmark acquisition of Boston-based artist Dana Chandler’s Fred Hampton’s Door II (1974) to the MFA’s collection, as well as an important acquisition of the newspapers at MoMA.
