Day Trip: Celtic Art Across the Ages

Laurel Society favorite and treasured colleague Dr. Susanne Ebbinghaus, George M. A. Hanfmann Curator of Ancient Art, and head of the Division of Asian and Mediterranean Art at the Harvard Art Museums, takes us on a behind-the-scenes tour of her groundbreaking exhibition “Celtic Art Across the Ages.” The exhibition centers on objects from the Iron Age, Roman period, and early medieval period, encompassing 1,500 years of Celtic art, its reception, reinterpretation, and revival.
