When Flinders Petrie worked in Egypt a century ago, unique finds had to stay in Egypt, while the rest was widely distributed for study. The Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek in Copenhagen and the MFA both received finds from important sites in Memphis, Meydum, and Hawara. Tine Bagh, curator of Egyptian Art at the Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek, provides a closer look at this excavated material and discusses her discovery of objects in both museums that join exactly.
