Hear from scholar and performer Jake Blount, who recently produced music with Rhiannon Giddens for The American Revolution: An Intimate History, an upcoming Ken Burns documentary. Join us to hear Jake speak about his research on the banjo and discuss his new projects, and meet Jake before he performs on a selection of historic banjos in the MFA’s collection.

Co-organized by the Black Arts and Artists and Musical Instruments Curators Circles.
