Recently installed galleries unlock an opportunity to engage with MFA Boston’s collection in a new light. Works like an early Greek statuette of a deer nursing her fawn and Rembrandt’s Artist in His Studio are now in conversation with fresh acquisitions. From objects in various mediums from ancient Greece, Rome, and the Byzantine Empire to recently expanded holdings of Dutch and Flemish art, share the delight of direct encounters with works of art.

Sessions meet in Sharf Visitor Center and take place throughout the galleries.

Offered in conjunction with the Welcome Back Wednesdays course.

Barbara Martin, Alfond Curator Emerita of Education

Choose between the 10:30 am or 3 pm sessions.
