In a letter to his brother, Vincent van Gogh once wrote, “Some artists have a nervous hand at drawing, which gives their technique something of the sound peculiar to a violin.” Artists and musicians have long been fascinated by the relationship between their crafts. This winter, enjoy a multi-sensory tour, and through close looking and listening, explore the rich symbiosis between sight and sound in European culture.
