“Who Holds Up the Sky?” features work by Ukrainian artists who have been documenting the ongoing Russian invasion of Ukraine—providing testimony of Russia’s crimes and a glimpse into many citizens’ lives.
Inspired by the exhibition, this City Talk explores the importance of art as a record of the war and the ongoing efforts to protect Ukrainian art caught in the crossfire. Hear from those working on the ground in Ukraine and Boston as they share their experiences advocating for the safeguarding and preservation of Ukraine’s people, cultural heritage, and historical context.
