Meet in Sharf Visitor Center
Ancient Egyptians had elaborate funerary rites and traditions, and mummification of animals played an important part in their votive practices. Learn about different types of animal mummies and how conservators stabilize them on archaeological sites and in museums.
With Evelyn Mayberger, assistant conservator, Objects Conservation Laboratory.
