Join the Art of the Americas curators for a festive season opener. Nonie Gadsden, Katharine Lane Weems Senior Curator of American Decorative Arts and Sculpture; and Professor George W. Russell Jr., chair of Harmony and Jazz Composition at Berklee College of Music, have a wide-ranging conversation about jazz styles and their impact on the visual arts. This event celebrates the Art and Jazz gallery, a cornerstone of our new installations for 20th-century art from the Americas. The session features a live piano performance.
