Hear from celebrated pianist, composer, and performance artist Jason Moran about his role in curating and stewarding the recently opened Louis Armstrong Center. Located across the street from the renowned Louis Armstrong House Museum in Corona, Queens, the new state-of-the-art building is dedicated to preserving and expanding the legacy and ideals of an American music icon.

Artistic director of Jazz at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC, Moran was named a MacArthur Fellow in 2010. He currently teaches at New England Conservatory.
