The Torlonia collection is the largest private collection of Roman marble sculptures in Italy and arguably the most important of such private collections in the world.

Under the leadership of Lisa Çakmak, chair and curator, Arts of the Ancient Mediterranean and Byzantium, Art Institute of Chicago, a selection of more than 50 works from the collection will leave Italy for the first time and travel to Chicago next year—don’t miss your chance to see it all!

Participation in this trip is optional and comes with an additional cost. If you are interested in traveling with this group, please contact Daniel Cashman at [email protected] for full details, including itinerary, logistics and pricing. Space is limited. Travel dates subject to change.

This program is scheduled to be an in-person event, however details may be subject to change.
