In parternship with Visual AIDS, the MFA presents this year’s Day With(out) Art: Meet Us Where We’re At, a program of six videos that forefront the experiences of drug users and harm reduction practices as they intersect with the ongoing HIV crisis. The program features new work by Camilo Tapia Flores, Camila Flores-Fernández, Hoàng Thái Anh, Kenneth Idongesit Usoro, José Luis Cortés, and Gustavo Vinagre and Vinicius Couto. This presentation contains imagery that may be emotionally unsettling for viewers, including nudity, graphic sexuality, drugs, and drug paraphernalia. We encourage visitors to engage with the works at their own pace.

Meet Us Where We’re At screens as a looping presentation in Gallery 268, Linde Family Wing for Contemporary Art.

Visual AIDS is a New York–based nonprofit that utilizes art to fight AIDS by provoking dialogue, supporting HIV+ artists, and preserving a legacy, because AIDS is not over.
