How did pharaohs in ancient Egypt use art to achieve and retain power? Join us for a virtual visit to “Maverick Kings: Three Visionary Pharaohs of Egypt’s Golden Age” to learn about three celebrated rulers—Hatshepsut, Amenhotep III, and Akhenaten—who used the power of images to exert influence during their long reigns. Aligns with Massachusetts standards for History and Social Science/Investigating History.
