Directed by Bruce Robinson (UK, 1989, 95 min.). 35mm.

Starring Oscar-nominee Richard E. Grant (Can You Ever Forgive Me?), this madcap satire follows Denis Bagley, a cynical advertising executive who suffers an epic breakdown while trying to find the perfect angle to peddle a new pimple cream. Renouncing consumerism and his career, Bagley is horrified to find that his shoulder has sprouted an evil, talking boil. This brutal sendup of modern capitalism reunites the talented team behind the cult classic comedy Withnail and I (1987).
