In December, MFA Film presents a crop of new films by emerging filmmakers from Brazil, including Juliana Rojas and Marco Dutra’s topical Gothic fairy tale, Good Manners; Daniela Thomas’s stunning meditation on colonialism and feminism, Vazante; Ali Muritiba’s Rust, about the tough realities of teenage life in the age of social media; and Júlia Murat’s Pendular, a poetic study of the relationship between two artists.

Co-presented with Consulate General of Brazil in Boston.
