Boston City Singers

11–11:30 am, Gallery 168

Boston City Singers, a nonprofit organization headquartered in Dorchester since 1995, provides musical training and performance opportunities to more than 500 singers ages 4 to 18 from Boston’s urban neighborhoods and beyond. Today’s performers are members of the Tour Choir and serve as ambassadors of the organization, the City of Boston, and the United States as they sing, dance, and drum their way around the world. In June, they will embark on a three-week tour of Croatia, the Czech Republic, and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The program accepts new singers throughout the year; learn more at or send an e-mail to

Field & Vase Flower Farm and Design Studio

Noon–4 pm, Flower Truck outside Huntington Avenue Entrance

Visit the Flower Truck to purchase an assortment of fresh flowers.

1–3 pm, Flower Truck outside Huntington Avenue Entrance

Join Field & Vase outside the Museum’s Huntington Avenue Entrance and make your very own seed balls from clay, soil, and wildflower seeds. This traditional method protects seeds from hungry birds and increases your flowers' success. Use your seed ball to beautify a nearby vacant patch, brighten your garden, or enliven indoor pots.

Field & Vase is a family-owned flower farm and design studio located in Stow. Growing in both greenhouses and outdoor fields, Field & Vase grows more than 80 varieties of flowers using sustainable practices.
