Babylonian lions and Asian tigers have taken over the MFA! Find cats from Egypt, an ancient Greek hedgehog, a medieval dove, Chinese camels, and a pig from an American carousel. These animals in our MFA menageries and others are our inspiration for a week of studio art creations.

Signing up for both a morning and afternoon summer studio art class? Don't forget to register for Supervised Lunch, sold seperately.
Supervised lunch cannot be sold with the registration of a single class. Students under the age of 14 and registered in both a morning and afternoon summer studio art class are required to purchase supervised lunch. It is not an option for those students to be dismissed for lunch.

Accessibility

Due to the building’s historic architecture, the third-floor classrooms, 305A, 305B, 305D and 305E, are not wheelchair-accessible and must be accessed by stairs. Please let us know in advance if the student has limited mobility; we can make accommodations, including relocating the class to an accessible space.

To inform the Studio Art Class program of any access needs, please e-mail artclasses@mfa.org or call our office at 617-369-3295.
