This course is designed to build foundational drawing skills through a strategic accumulation of observational and technical skills of the figure through live/nude model sessions. By working with both dynamic gestures and long poses, the students will learning to approach the figure with confidence and poetic enjoyment. We will practice measuring, composition, perspective, structural anatomy, tonal shading and drawing the figure in motion. An instructional booklet, specially designed by the instructor, will be given to each student as part of the class package.
