Our year of celebrating the Renaissance in Florence continues with an evening devoted to the first Botticelli exhibition held in North America, opening April 2017. Gain a new appreciation of this household name through the eyes of the curator and conservator as Frederick Ilchman from Art of Europe and Lydia Vagts, Cunningham Associate Conservator of Paintings, discuss the changes in artistic expression, religious attitudes, and the creative process in the second half of the fifteenth century.
