Concerts in the Courtyard Policies

Event Policies

Seating

Doors open 90 minutes before the concert start time. Courtyard seating is limited; low lawn chairs (3 feet or under when unfolded) and/or blankets are recommended. Tall chairs are not permitted.

Food and Personal Property

All bags are subject to inspection by Museum staff. Outside food and beverages, large bags, and tall chairs are not permitted. Fresh seasonal meals, cheese and fruit boxes, and grab-and-go items (chips, candy, fruit, cookies)—plus beer, wine, and soft drinks—are available for purchase beginning when doors open.

Inclement Weather

Concerts are held outdoors in the Calderwood Courtyard, weather permitting. The weather decision is made by 2 pm on the day of the concert.

In case of inclement weather, concerts move indoors to Remis Auditorium with doors opening at 7 pm.

If the concert moves inside, no lawn chairs, large bags, or outside food are allowed in Remis Auditorium. All such items must be checked at the Huntington coat check.
