Lee Quiñones’s performance as Raymond, a graffiti writer who goes by the name Zoro, is reason enough to watch. Quiñones, himself an artist in real life, has a combination of reserved intensity and charm that I’ve never seen before on film. Also worth checking him out in Boom for Real; if you’re at all skeptical about why or whether graffiti matters, he might be the guy to change your mind. A fascinating person. CL
