In this video, the exhibition’s three collaborators—Japanese superstar Takashi Murakami, Professor Nobuo Tsuji, and Anne Nishimura Morse, the William and Helen Pounds Senior Curator of Japanese Art at the MFA—introduce “Lineage of Eccentrics,” which juxtaposes Murakami’s works with treasures from the Museum’s renowned collection of historical Japanese art.
