Taught by a trained Museum educator, this customizable and interactive online program for a group of up to 30 kids or teens lasts one hour and includes close looking at objects from the collection paired with a guided art-making activity. All art materials will be provided by the MFA and mailed approximately 1 week in advance.
Take a look at animals found in paintings and sculptures in the Museum’s collection. Learn some of the hidden meanings and symbols behind each while discovering how artists have used a variety of art mediums, textures, and colors to create each one. Then create a real or imaginary animal of your own using a wire form, Crayola Model Magic, and mixed media.
Live-streaming programs utilize Zoom. To access you will be required to download Zoom.
