Contemporary Artists in “LIFE Magazine and the Power of Photography”

“Life Magazine and the Power of Photography” includes three immersive contemporary “moments” featuring works by artists active today who interrogate news media through their practice. Join Kristen Gresh, Estrellita and Yousuf Karsh Senior Curator of Photographs; and Reto Thüring, Beal Family Chair, Department of Contemporary Art, for a conversation with artists Alexandra Bell, Alfredo Jaar, and Julia Wachtel about their work evoking implicit biases and systemic racism in contemporary media.
