After his pregnant wife dies by suicide, Yu-ming (Joseph Chang) searches for answers in the fragments of their marriage, uncovering family secrets and hidden suffering that had long gone unseen. In his acclaimed fiction debut, documentarian Ko-shang Shen crafts a quietly devastating mystery filled with grief, memory, and the silences that can exist even in the closest relationships.
Nominated for seven Golden Horse Awards and Winner of Best Film at the Pingyao International Film Festival, where Chang also received the Best Actor prize.
