Back-to-school special! This screening kicks off our new ticket rate of $5 for students at Boston-area universities, in person with a valid college ID.

Experience the mind-bending classic that seduced a generation of young cinephiles. In 1988 suburban America, troubled high schooler Donnie Darko (Jake Gyllenhaal, in his very first role) is haunted by visions of a giant demonic rabbit who claims the world will end in a month. Made on a shoestring budget, Donnie Darko features a slew of stars, including Jena Malone, Seth Rogen, Drew Barrymore and Patrick Swayze—many of whom were so impressed by the script they worked for free.
