Lucky Lu (幸福之路)

After living apart from his family for years, Chinese immigrant Lu has finally scraped together enough money to bring his wife and young daughter to New York, securing a small apartment and a food delivery job to build a new life for them. But on the day they’re due to arrive, the e-bike he depends on for work is stolen.
As the clock ticks down to his family’s arrival, Lu embarks on a desperate search across the city to recover his livelihood. With no help from the police and few people willing to trust him, Lu finds himself confronting the consequences of past mistakes and the impossible choices faced by those living one setback away from catastrophe. A tense and deeply human drama, Lucky Lu is a gripping portrait of family, survival, and the moral compromises demanded by precarious lives.
