In the late 1980s, Rose moves from Africa to the Paris suburbs with her two young sons. Spanning more than 30 years from their arrival in France to the present day, Leonor Serraille’s moving follow-up to her 2017 debut Jeune Femme (winner of the Camera d’Or for best first feature at the Cannes Film Festival) is a moving chronicle of the construction and deconstruction of an ordinary family.
This film is part of Young French Cinema, a program of Unifrance and Villa Albertine.
