A mind-bending fairy tale about mothers and daughters, Petite Maman follows 8-year-old Nelly, who, following her grandmother’s death, accompanies her parents to her mother’s childhood home to begin the difficult process of clearing out its cherished contents. As Nelly explores the nearby woods, she is drawn to a neighbor her own age building a treehouse. The girls begin to form a bond when a new facet of reality reveals itself.
