Directed by Spike Lee (USA, 1988, 121 mins.).

Step into the world of the fictional Mission College with auteur Spike Lee’s groundbreaking portrayal of community, activism, and cultural pride in Black campus life. From its exhilarating musical numbers to the poignant explorations of racial and social dynamics, School Daze celebrates the resilience, creativity, and spirit of historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs) and Black Greek-letter organizations. Starring Laurence Fishburne and Lee himself, and set against the backdrop of the late 1980s, this classic film serves as both a reflection of its era and a timeless commentary on the enduring struggles and triumphs of the Black community in America.
