When ten-year-old Chihiro and her parents stumble upon an abandoned amusement park, they inadvertently cross into a world inhabited by spirits and gods. After her parents are transformed into pigs, Chihiro must work at a bathhouse run by the sorceress Yubaba to find a way to free her family and return to the human world. Winner of the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature and the Golden Bear at the Berlin International Film Festival, Spirited Away is a landmark in animation and storytelling.
