The late 19th century was a particularly vibrant time in France for artists of all types. Musicians, poets, and artists intermingled in a myriad of ways. Collaboration between visual artists, writers, and composers happened everywhere—from the cafés and salons where they congregated to the opera houses and concert halls where they joined together in creating new forms and groundbreaking works. Join Dr. Elizabeth Seitz for an exploration of the musical landscape of the latter 19th century, which includes such luminaries as Massenet, Debussy, Satie, and Fauré.

Bag Checks
All bags are subject to inspection by Museum staff. Backpacks, large bags, all liquids including hand sanitizer and sunscreen, and outside food or drink are not permitted.
