In this in-depth overview of “Stories Artists Tell: Art of the Americas, the 20th Century,” learn about the audience-driven and thematic approach to the installation. Hear from curators about why they chose to display icons from the MFA Boston collection with lesser-known works and how they selected the pairings. Then take a deeper dive into “A Little Bit of the Southwest,” one of the galleries that best exemplifies this approach, with its showcase of textiles, pottery, and paintings from the Southwestern United States.
