Blues rock artist Amani Burnham wields his guitar with dexterous ferocity and sensual charisma. His fluid soloing and electrifying showmanship have captured the imaginations of blues fans and seasoned professional musicians alike, heralding the arrival of a new blues dynamo.
After releasing his debut album, Roots & Wings, Burnham comes to the MFA to show off his remarkable guitar work—played uniquely with his right thumb rather than a pick—alongside soulful vocals and introspective songwriting. Don’t miss this evening of groovy riffs, cosmic solos, and stinging vibrato.
