The Boston Camerata, America’s preeminent early music ensemble, born at the MFA in 1954, returns to its mother institution to celebrate a milestone anniversary. The group’s superb singers and instrumentalists recreate some of those first, pioneering performances from 70 years ago. They also echo, in live music, some of the visual treasures of the Museum's collection, and showcase some of Camerata’s present-day adventures in sound.
