Art from the past—showing the ingenuity of people from across time and place—can propel conversations and inspire creative thinking, including about our changing environment. Pairing an air historian and expert in hydraulic engineering, we will look together about the role of water in our world and the centrality of the Netherlands and Boston in helping us think through the importance of sky and sea to our world in the past, present, and our future.

This event will be hosted on Zoom and include breakout groups for networking and brainstorming with experts from the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy, Delft University, the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston’s new Center for Netherlandish Art, and the National Gallery of Art.

The registration link will be shared by the Museum with our company representative at current Corporate Member organizations. Please contact the Corporate Partnerships office with any questions at [email protected].
