At the MFA, words and image collide! Explore the heroic narratives of Greek gods and examine vessels and frescos decorated with centaurs and other imaginative creatures. Marvel at the transformative beauty of words with Persian calligraphy, Japanese scrolls, and even neon signs. Back in the studio, learn bookmaking techniques and invent your own characters for comics, zines, and posters by turning your stories into art!

Please provide a nut-free lunch, snacks, utensils, water bottle, and smock. Supplies are provided.
