Directed by Brady Corbet (USA, UK, and Canada, 2024, 215 min. with a 15-minute intermission). English, Hungarian, Italian, Hebrew, and Yiddish with English subtitles.

A24's latest offering, The Brutalist, is an epic period drama following László Tóth (Adrien Brody), a fictional Hungarian-Jewish architect and Holocaust survivor, as he rebuilds his life and career in post–World War II America with his wife, Erzsébet (Felicity Jones). Spanning decades, the story explores Tóth’s relentless pursuit of architectural innovation and the personal cost of working with a wealthy and power-hungry industrialist (Guy Pearce).

A breathtaking meditation on ambition, resilience, and history’s lasting shadows, the film has been nominated for 10 Academy Awards, including Best Picture. It also won the Golden Globe for Best Motion Picture–Drama and Best Actor–Drama (Brody).
