At a Catholic center in the South Bronx, three young Latino adults pray, sing, and navigate relationships with their community, friends, and each other.

Long Hast Thou Stood

Directed by Joe Aidonidis (USA, 2024, 8 min.).

This short explores how vital the Mount Calvary Baptist Church is to its congregation even as it sees declining attendance. At a time when social institutions are increasingly stressed, the film explores what happens to a community when its spiritual center begins to dissolve.

AfriCOBRA and Nelson Stevens: Art for the People

A community responds to the passing of AfriCOBRA artist and teacher Nelson Stevens by carrying his legacy, continuing to define and redefine the meaning of “art for the people.”

Hear Me

Hear Me is crafted from in-depth conversations with seven at-risk young people in the affluent Berkshire County in Western Massachusetts. Each of the remarkable youths are working through various aspects domestic abuse, neglect, and street violence. Here they are the experts—on their own lives and on the root causes of gun violence.

Redefining Legacy

Jocelyn Jones only thought she would find pain when researching her ancestry. With the help of a local historical society, Jones discovers a proud lineage of patriotism, which helps her to reshape what it means to be an American.
