Set against the backdrop of the 2018 yellow-jacket protests in Paris, Case 137 follows Stéphanie, an internal affairs investigator assigned to a civil disturbance case involving a young man seriously injured during a demonstration. As Stéphanie pieces together the events, professional detachment becomes increasingly difficult when the case begins to intersect with her own past and sense of belonging. With quiet rigor and moral complexity, Dominik Moll’s (The Night of the 12th) investigative drama is anchored by Léa Drucker’s finely calibrated performance, which won her the Lumière Award for Best Actress.
