Occurring every Thursday
The MFA’s rich collections of art from the American colonial and Federal periods tell a riveting story about English immigrants’ early years in the New World. Over four sessions, hear the stories of real residents of Boston and its vicinities in the 17th through 19th centuries. Learn what distinguished the New England colonies and later the states of Northeast America from other territories of the United States by looking together at objects of the material world and works of art.
