Clap Your Hands Say Yeah: Piano and Voice
Over two decades Alec Ounsworth has become known for his contributions to independent rock with his band Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, but few are aware that the piano is his first and primary compositional instrument. After a sold-out tour across Europe and the release of a limited 10-inch vinyl, Ounsworth comes to the MFA for an intimate concert for solo piano and voice. Hear CYHSY’s repertoire like never before as Ounsworth showcases the depth and resolute character of his songwriting in its purest form.
