Create a variety of abstract and figurative works to better understand the element of color and design principle of pattern. Find and compare both ancient and contemporary works to draw inspiration and broaden your understanding of how to use these concepts through drawing, painting, and mixed-media exercises to ignite future projects.

Ticket Information

Registration for February, April, and Summer vacation week classes ends at Noon the Friday before the class starts.

About the Instructor

Brian Reddy is an artist and educator working as the drawing, painting, and digital art teacher at Wellesley High School and has been teaching studio art classes at the MFA since 2017. He is an alumnus of Massachusetts College of Art and Design (BFA Illustration ’07 and Teacher Preparation Program ’09) and Framingham State (Masters in Art Education ’17).
