Balancing her time between the courthouse and her ailing mother’s hospital bed, a criminal lawyer faces a profound moral dilemma: as a murder trial unfolds and the defense begins to turn in her client’s favor, she must make a choice that will impact not only the case but also the lives of her mother, the judge, and the accused.
Hesitation Wound had its world premiere in the Orizzonti section at the 80th Venice International Film Festival and won the Best Screenplay Award at the Asia Pacific Screen Awards, among other accolades.
