Taiwan Film Festival of Boston

The Taiwan Film Festival of Boston is New England’s premier celebration of Taiwanese cinema, presenting award-winning films, filmmaker conversations, and cultural experiences that connect audiences with the richness of Taiwan’s storytelling traditions. This year, the festival celebrates its eighth edition with a vibrant program of contemporary features, restored classics, documentaries, and special events. It takes place from September 10 through October 11 at the MFA and venues throughout Boston.

At the MFA, three feature films and a short explore themes of identity, family, perseverance, and social change. Don’t miss a special appearance by internationally acclaimed actress Ariel Lin, who is participating in a conversation following the screening of Deep Quiet Room.
